Radish
Radishes are very versatile in the kitchen and go great as a low-carb ingredient in the plate. They’re also easy to plant and grow, and can be taken care of indoors – as long as you provide them a proper space!

Radishes are stress-free plants
They’re easy-to-grow veggies, but beware: radishes have ZERO tolerance for weeds and moisture stress. Whenever planting, make sure to provide a soil that never dries out and keep slugs away.
If you live in a rainy place, we suggest you plant radish seedlings indoors or keep them away from where the rain falls. Also, provide them a attentive watering – never dry and never too moisturized soil is the perfect condition for them to thrive like champions.

… And they need their space!
Although radishes are friendly plants, they like their space. The seedlings that grow too close together will never plump up, so provide a uniform spacing (from about 2 inches or 5 centimeters apart).

When to plant radishes?
The best and recommended season for planting and growing radishes is the fall (or spring, if you live in a warm-temperature city), since they’re cool temperature veggies.
Radishes prefer to grow in temperatures between 50F and 75F, so make sure to place the garden container where they can thrive.

Taking care of radishes
When radish seedlings sprout, their leaves must be thinned fairly often – approximately, when they reach a height of an inch or even two. It allows them to grow firmly with enough room.
-
When and how to harvest radishes
You can harvest radishes when they’re almost reaching 1 inch across. When the veggies are the proper size, make sure to lift the whole plant and gently push the soil aside.
Beware your timing: when it comes to radishes, prompt harvesting is essential. If radishes are left unharvested a day or too, it’s already too long: they’ll become very pithy.
